Digital Sensitivity Review
Our Digital Sensitivity Review technology can automate the search of digital data, mask or redact Personal Identifiable Information (PII), sensitive information or secret data, and archive the data based on internal rules and external regulations.
Where is your Sensitive Data Located?
There are ongoing and frequent requests made to organisations to see the various types of data they hold. These will include:
- Requests for data held by an organisation relating to an individual or subject, whereby the organisation has a legal requirement to provide it, and within a specified timeframe, e.g., Digital Subject Access Requests (DSAR), Subject Access Requests (SAR), Freedom of Information Requests (FOI), Environment Information Requests (EIR)
- Requests for data internally, whereby data is requested by employees or by internal departments to assist with operational analysis or business activities.

Phase 1 – DDC OneView
- Searches all documents in an organisation
- Processes sensitivity rules specified by the organisation
- Returns documents highlighting sensitive keywords
- No restriction on file type or file location – can be stored in the cloud, e.g., Google Drive
- Documents captured are displayed on the OneView dashboard, which shows full document, document location and metadata
Phase 2 – DDC SmartRedact
- Highlights sensitive whole phrases
- Manual review of sensitive information
- Add comments to sensitive information
- Once review is complete, DSR technology will mask the sensitive data in the documents
- Highlights all the sensitive information in documentation allowing for skim reading – saving significant time
Phase 3 – Archive
- Archive based on framework
- Easier and quicker retrieval
